Andy Gotts inspired Photographs

Andy Gotts inspired contact strip (before editing):

Background

I took these photographs from inspiration form Andy Gotts. I used a black, plain background to adjust the settings to look like some of Gotts' backgrounds, I've noticed how he prefers to use plain background usually black or white and i'm guessing he uses artificial lights to play around with the lighting which is exactly what i did. I used a large piece of paper to reflect the light where i preferred to be lit and brighter.

I experimented and used both auto and manual focus just to compare between the both, just to see how much work still needs to be done.

Before&After photoshop elements

BEFORE:

AFTER:
I used Photoshop to make this image look far more dramatic than it originally was.

During this lesson, I learnt what kind of Photographs Andy Gotts takes and the elements he includes. He always uses a clean, plain background which is the reason I took this photograph using a black background

Before & After

BEFORE; This is a photograph i took in the style of Andy Gotts' work.
AFTER; This is the picture after i used Photoshop elements to edit it, first i got rid of a few blemishes on the sitters face. then i changed the filter.

- This image was set on a glass balcony. The purpose of that was to make it obvious that it was a low/long shot.

- In this image the model is wearing school uniform as her costume.

- I think that the mood that this image is representing is confidence and happiness. I think its a very warm mood as well.

- I used artificial lighting as you can see above.

- There was no props used for this image.
